Myth or fact? If I’m going to a party tonight, it’s a good idea to skip lunch to make up for the extra food I might be eating.
If you skip lunch, you’ll throw your body off its normal routine. This means there’s a good chance you’ll end up very hungry and eat even more than you would have otherwise.
A better idea: keep your body on its regular schedule and eat a light protein and fiber-rich lunch that will fill you up and keep you feeling full for hours. Then, when you’re at the party, be sure to choose the healthier “worth it” foods that you love and enjoy. The next day, just jump back on your normal healthy routine.
