Myth vs. Fact: Eating Eating Late at Night Slows Your Metabolism

There’s actually very little evidence linking late-night eating with weight gain. That being said, if you regularly snack at night while you’re watching TV, it’s easy to eat more than you planned. So, if that’s you, make sure you watch your portion sizes.

Plus, it’s a good idea to keep in mind that nighttime eating can interfere with your sleep. A bad night of sleep can lead to being less active the next day, as well as having an increased appetite and that won’t help you reach your goals.
