It’s true: many times, people don’t reach their New Year’s goals, but for those that do have them take
hold, they’re one of the very best ways to change habits! Research shows:
- 25% of people who make resolutions give them up the first week.
- 46% keep their resolutions for at least 6 months
- 8% keep their resolutions for the whole year
These may not seem like great stats, but they’re great gains for that 8% who stick with their resolutions and even a great start for the 46% who make it half the year.
