Q: Can I train myself to get better at managing stress?

A: Yes!

It’s all about:

  • Recognizing when you’re stressed, and
  • Finding stress management techniques that work for you

Everyone experiences stress differently. 

  • Some people get physical symptoms (headaches or an upset stomach)
  • Others might get anxious, angry, or can’t sleep
  • And some can get both

Getting better at managing stress does note mean constantly exposing yourself to it to get “stronger.” 

It means having a routine in place to manage the daily ups and downs!

✅Getting enough quality sleep each night

✅Eating a healthy diet

✅Finding ways to relax and recharge

✅Developing a positive outlook

✅Setting boundaries and letting yourself say “no”

✅Reaching out for support when you need it
